Photographer Mickey Thörnblad draws his inspiration from his beloved Öland, where the magical light is constantly changing and never ceases to move him. Through his photographs, he shares the island’s unique landscapes – from the tranquil waters to the vast, windswept rocky landscapes of the Alvar.

The motifs are characterised by a sense of presence, light and a strong sense of place.
