ELISABET HALL, born in 1955 in Ulricehamn. She has lived at the Kohagslyckan farm, near Löttorp in northern Öland, since 1983.

Trained at Öland Folk High School and Konstfack.  She is a member of Åkerbokonstnärerna, KRO and KC Syd. Elisabet has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions, both in Sweden and abroad, and has her studio combined with an exhibition space in an old timber-framed house on the farm.

””I paint mainly in oils – now water-soluble, for the sake of the environment. My subjects are often drawn from my immediate surroundings – buildings, landscapes, portraits – all rendered in a minimalist style. I strive for simplicity and purity, a poetic style of painting.”
